The 2011 Towpath Duffel saddle bag is hand-crafted from water-resistant, black 18 oz. cotton-duck canvas. Inside, it's lined first with a waterproof membrane and then a blue Botanical print cotton fabric. On and off the bike, this bag is convenient, functional, and super-cute!
Function:
The Towpath Duffel bike seat bag is the perfect size for shorter outings when you need to bring just the essentials. It's very lightweight, yet extremely sturdy. Very easy to take on and off the bike - it works great as a cross body bag! It also doubles as a front bag (depending on your brake cable set-up).
It attaches to your bike saddle rails, or bag loops, with two metal snap hooks, and to your seatpost/handlebars with removable pieces of velcro.
It works great as a cross body bag when not on the bike with optional shoulder strap.
Materials:
- Made from water resistant (DWR coated) heavy duck canvas, it also has a waterproof, nylon-oxford inner membrane, and a cotton lining.
- It features two plastic stiffeners, YKK zipper-front with pull, reflective tab to attach a light, and metal d-rings to attach an optional shoulder strap.
Size:
It measures 10"wide x 4.5"diameter. / approx. 205 cubic inches inside.
Quality:
Like all our bags, it is made completely by hand with the utmost care, and attention to detail, in our two person studio. We always finish all seams (no raggedy or fraying edges) and burn and smear every loose thread. Quality of workmanship is our number one commitment.
